Compliance Notes

  1. Brand story step 04 ("vegan, organic value"): the inline FSANZ flags were removed from customer copy. The vegan claim must be verified for all products, and "organic" needs certification (AS 6000 / approved certifier) before this wording goes live.
  2. Jobs position status: both roles are set to "Open" (green) as placeholders. Confirm the real status with the owner. To change one, set data-status="open" or "full" on its list item.
  3. Chat Now widget: vanilla JS mockup with scripted answers only, no live agent. Can be replaced later by a live chat provider (e.g. Tidio, Intercom, WhatsApp Business). The email address hello@saucyballs.example is a TBC placeholder. Keep the offer and allergen wording in the chat in sync with the page.
  4. Private booking offer ($1,500 booking / $1,500 credit / 10% off): terms are a draft and need the owner's confirmation. Must comply with Australian Consumer Law: total price clear and prominent, no misleading "free" or value claims, conditions disclosed near the offer.
  5. Vegan / plant-based: confirm every ingredient & sauce (incl. cross-contact) before using "vegan" claims; consider certification.
  6. Organic: only claim "organic" for certified products/ingredients (AS 6000 / approved certifier); "organic-leaning" wording to be reviewed.
  7. Allergens: declare per FSANZ Food Standards Code Std 1.2.3 (PEAL) — e.g. sesame, gluten, soy; display allergen info at point of sale.
  8. Health & nutrition claims: any "healthy", protein, or similar claims must meet Std 1.2.7; none currently made.
  9. Catering offer wording: "(that is 100 organic serves)" in the private booking offer: "organic" needs AS 6000 / approved-certifier certification for what is served, and the terms should define what a "serve" includes (items and portion).
  10. Menu & prices: mains $15 and drinks $7 per the franchise menu (AUD); dessert dumplings, ice cream scoops and coconut bars are "price TBC". Locations and hours are still placeholders.
  11. Franchise: franchise marketing subject to the Franchising Code of Conduct — get legal review.
